Common issues with stores

  • The prices don't match

Our price update system is constantly active, but it isn't foolproof, and sometimes the prices displayed may not match the final product price in the stores.

Remember, you may have activated a filter like "Payment Fees" that can alter the price displayed on Gocdkeys.

If you believe a price still doesn't match, contact us so we can change it immediately.

  • I haven't received anything from the store

After making a payment in one of the Gocdkeys stores, you should receive an email with your order ID and payment confirmation. Later, within seconds or minutes depending on the store, you'll receive another email notification with your game key or instructions to obtain it within the store.

If you don't receive any emails, first check your SPAM folder.

If you still don't receive an email about your order, contact the customer service of the store in question.

If they don't resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us to expedite the resolution process.

There might be situations where, due to high demand, the game you purchased is currently out of stock, so you'll have no choice but to wait for them to send it to you.

If the game is a pre-order, meaning it hasn't been released yet, it's normal for the key not to be sent until the release day.

  • Issues contacting the stores

Many of the stores we've listed have 24/7 support, though sometimes they don't respond. Many also have a Live Chat which can sometimes also have issues.

If you have an urgency and don't receive a response, don't hesitate to contact us. We will mediate on your behalf and contact the store directly to expedite the process.

  • Can I return a digital game?

In general, games cannot be returned, but this depends on each store's policy.

At Gocdkeys, we believe this right should exist if certain requirements are met and provided the game hasn't been activated:

    If I mistakenly bought a format I didn't want;

If, after a long wait, I don't receive the game I bought or if the store takes too long to deliver it.

In both cases, we accept returns, and if the store doesn't, contact us, and we'll push for a full refund.

To avoid problems, always read all the information about the game format before purchasing and the activation methods. Remember, at Gocdkeys, we'll try to refund your money, but we can't guarantee it with 100% certainty.

  • I paid more than indicated

In general, many stores have fees on payment methods. This is a small fee or tax applied when finalizing the purchase process, which usually increases the final product price by a few euros.

In the list, you can activate the "Payment Fees" option in the filters to see the final price you'll find in the store's cart, and you can also see the increase below each of the price buttons you'll find in the lists.

There are some stores that don't apply this fee and are known as "No payment fee" stores. So, below the price button, you'll see "Fee incl. +0€", meaning no amount will be added to the final price; the price you see is what you'll pay.

  • The store sent me something I didn't buy

Always check in each store the format or version of the game you're going to buy. We receive many complaints for not correctly checking the game formats in each store, even when it's indicated at all times.

Before making a purchase, carefully check which version of the game you're going to buy. For console games, see if we mark it as "Account". This means it's a game in the ACCOUNT FORMAT, not a KEY. All stores with this format also display it on the product page.

In these cases, we're not responsible if the stores accept returns, so we repeat again: ALWAYS CHECK GAME VERSIONS BEFORE BUYING THEM.

  • I bought an account thinking it was a KEY

We won't tire of repeating: Check the game format before buying it, as we at Gocdkeys aren't responsible for any issues in this regard.

We always mark the editions or formats of the games, but over time stores can change them without notifying us. So, before buying in each store, check this edition or format again and make sure you know what you're purchasing.

The store indicates at all times whether it's an ACCOUNT or a KEY, so you should look for this information in the stores, not in our comparator.

We compare various stores and offers, and stores can freely change the format or edition of their games, so make sure to LOOK IN EACH STORE FOR THE EDITION YOU WANT. Don't just trust us, as what we show can vary depending on the stores.

In these cases, it's unlikely the store will accept a return, as they have no way of verifying if that account hasn't been activated. Still, we know mistakes can happen, and we'll help get a refund if necessary.
